made vulnerable

“made vulnerable” is an exhibition and digital humanities experiment that lives at the intersection of archival and curatorial practices. It explores vulnerability as a form of exposure, risk, pleasure and empowerment. As the first curated project for the sx visualities open-access platform, this body of work approaches the term vulnerability with a question:

What are we vulnerable to?

Ten artist artists engage this question with audio-visual contributions in English, Spanish and French: Jacqueline Bishop, Vladimir Cybil Charlier, Annabel Guérédrat and Henri Tauliaut, Jeannette Ehlers, Deborah Jack, Davina Lee, Gamaliel Rodriguez, Aiko Maya Roudette and Romy Scheroder.

This project is published by sx visualities, a Small Axe Project. Visit here to see the online exhibition, and to view each of the artists’ profiles.
